Join Us on the Matses Journey: Kambo Immersion Adventure in the Heart of the Jungle

Immerse yourself in an authentic, transformative, and life-changing journey with the Matses Tribe deep within the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest.

This 8-day Kambo immersion experience is designed for Kambo lovers, practitioners, and students who feel called to deepen their relationship with Kambo, the rainforest, and the Indigenous Matses people.

This is not a luxury retreat. It is a raw, real, and powerful jungle experience that asks for flexibility, respect, humility, and a willingness to be challenged.

Matses Journey October 2023

Event Details

The next Matses Journey is planned for November 2026 and is open to registeration.

Future journeys may be offered on different dates, so please check this page for the most current schedule.

During this experience, we will travel into the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest and spend time with the Matses Tribe, a community Kambo International has closely worked with for many years.

Experience

This journey is specially designed for Kambo lovers and practitioners who are ready to deepen their relationship with Kambo, the rainforest, and the Indigenous traditions connected to this medicine.

Participants will have the opportunity to connect with the people, frogs, and land of the jungle while bringing resources, support, and authentic connection to the village community.

This is a deeply meaningful experience, but it is also physically and emotionally demanding. Participants should be prepared for remote jungle conditions, shared accommodations, hiking, heat, humidity, insects, rain, limited modern conveniences, and a flexible itinerary.

Schedule

The exact schedule may vary depending on the confirmed trip dates, weather, travel conditions, village needs, and other local factors.

A general schedule for the 8-day journey is:

  • Day 1: Meet in Iquitos, Peru. Group arrival, hotel check-in, and welcome dinner.

  • Day 2: Spend the day in Iquitos to ground, prepare, decompress, and shop for any final supplies.

  • Days 3 to 6: Travel to and live in the Matses village. These days may include jungle immersion, Kambo rituals, time with the community, and connection with the rainforest.

  • Day 7: Return from the village to Iquitos for dinner, rest, and integration.

  • Day 8: Official trip itinerary ends.

Participants should plan their travel with enough flexibility for international travel, jungle conditions, and possible delays.

The price for the trip is $2,300 USD per person.

This includes:
