Kambo Stick Co-op
Hello Kambo Community!
We are reaching out to all of you with great excitement to announce the creation of what we feel may be the first Kambo Stick Cooperative. A small group of us have come together from our shared commitment to explore and discover ways to create community, awareness, cooperation, transparency, and support among all Kambo practitioners while supporting the tribe that supplies us with this fantastic gift from the jungle.
Today, we are so happy to offer practitioners from all communities the opportunity to be part of this Kambo Cooperative. Your participation will enable you to purchase Kambo with transparent pricing that the Matses have collected. The cost per stick has been calculated based on the following:
the wholesale price of the stick
shipping costs from Peru
insurance of the shipment from Peru
Western Union fees incurred when paying for the sticks
a minimal compensation given to the distributor for their time
the remaining amount will be used to build a reserve or go towards various projects
The reserve will enable the cooperative to purchase more significant amounts of sticks during the times of the year when Kambo is not readily available. These sticks can also be sold at a higher price to practitioners who choose not to participate in the coop but still want to purchase Kambo. Once a sufficient reserve has been reached, the money will be banked and used to contribute to projects within the tribe, research projects, or other ways to contribute to our community. Additionally, any profit from selling sticks to practitioners who purchase them at a higher price will be added to the reserve or used for the abovementioned projects.
Our desire in creating this cooperative is to honor and support the efforts of the Matses' to supply the cooperative with Kambo and provide a way to sell Kambo in a transparent manner that does not put a financial burden on any one person having to put out significant sums of money to purchase an ample supply to distribute and finally further to support the tribe in a cooperative and consistent way.
As time passes and the cooperative can bank monies to support different projects, we will communicate about those projects and the amount of money our collective will be able to contribute or use to support specific projects. We are also working towards offering grants to support research projects to help further the understanding and awareness around Kambo.
Membership of the co-op is a price of $50 annually. This is used to build systems to create the community, and any unnecessary expenses money remaining will go back into the fund for said research and special projects for the tribe. This amount is paid off when you purchase just over three sticks.
Here are the specific details of the Kambo Cooperative:
The price per stick will be USD 40. This price is based on the following:
Cost of sticks - $25 each
DHL Shipping - $1 per stick (approximate, based on weight)
DHL Shipment Protection - $1 per stick (approximate, based on worth)
Western Union Fee - $1.25 per stick (estimated, changes based on the amount sent)
Distributor Fee - $8 per stick
A minimum order of 5 sticks (depending on the time of year and availability of Kambo, there may be a maximum amount of sticks that can be ordered each time)
All orders must be prepaid, including shipping costs (shipped USPS Priority Mail with tracking)
Orders must be placed by the deadline date. Dates will be announced. However, we hope to order every four months.
Orders will be mailed out to the practitioner 14 days after the deadline (depending on the size of the order and the availability of Kambo at the time of the order, more time may be needed to collect the Kambo, pushing out the mailing date to the practitioners). Also, it will depend on shipping time from Peru (usually it is ten days)
Practitioners can always purchase sticks of Kambo without preordering for $55 per stick.
The first ordering deadline will be AUGUST 15, 2020.
We will order 3-4 times per year with an announcement prior.

Send your payment via PayPal using this email address: Coop@KamboInternational.com. Please remember to use friends and family and include the shipping cost in the total amount you pay.
It is critical to be sure to send using Friends & Family, as the cooperative will not be able to pay any banking fees - and in your notes - you should ONLY include the number of Sticks and complete mailing address in the notes—NO OTHER WORDS - and PLEASE NO MENTION OF THE WORD KAMBO. Paypal has removed some accounts for this in the past.

Domestic shipping will be a flat rate of $9
